The Cool Site of the Day page is very similar to a stadium hot dog vender.  Both peddle a product consisting of miscellaneous ingredients.  Both are likely to distract those around you.  And while the hot dog vender helps us enjoy the national pastime, the Cool Site of the Day site helps us pass time.
