He has covered sports for a number of newspapers throughout the country and currently works as a freelance writer in Lexington, Kentucky. David is a life-long fan of the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Eagles, which he believes may be at the root of every bad thing that has ever happened to him. His heroes include Ernest Hemingway, Mark Grace and the entire cast of "The Hills." He is widely credited as the inventor of the piano-key necktie, celebrates Michael Bolton's entire catalogue, and enjoys skinny skiing and going to bull fights on acid.
